"Successful animal sightings in Lamar Valley"
Phil was our guide for this day, which we had originally booked in 2020 but of course it was covid-delayed. We were very fortunate in that it appears we got the last day of summer on 22 October: the next day was very misty, and it snowed the day after that. We were picked up from our hotel in Gardiner at 7am (still dark) and over the course of the next 8 hours or so we saw a chipmunk, bison, goats, deer, elk, coyotes, sheep and wolves, the latter being the main purpose of the trip. We were also treated to howling. I don't think we would have managed any of this without the local knowledge provided by our guide. It was well worth it!

"Really enhanced our Yellowstone experience"
Elizabeth knew EVERYTHING about the park, its history, geology and wildlife, especially where to see the wildlife! Binoculars and spotting scopes (provided) enhanced our views of the animals and their habitats. We ate lunch (provided) at a roadside pull-off with a spectacular view, including a visit by a curious coyote! We didn’t want the day to end! Will enthusiastically recommend Yellowstone Guidelines and Elizabeth to our friends and fellow explorers!
