See The Highlights of Yellowstone In A Single Day
Norris Geyser Basin - Take a short hike and go wander through the Norris Geyser Basin. Norris Geyser basin is a one of a kind geothermal area and is home to the largest geyser in the world, Steamboat Geyser. The tour explores the Back Sand Basin and Porcelain Basin. Both areas have a diverse array of geysers, hot springs, and thermal features. Norris is a great place to experience and learn about the unique geology of Yellowstone.
The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is one of the most famous areas in the park. Beautiful is an understatement when describing the colorful canyon. See sights like Artist’s Point, Brink of the Upper Falls, and the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone is 308 feet, nearly double the size of Niagara Falls, and one of the top attractions in the park.
Mammoth Hot Springs - Mammoth Hot Springs are the largest travertine terraces in the world. The terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs are formed by continuous mineral deposits from a rich aquifer. Mammoth is also the headquarters of Yellowstone and home to Fort Yellowstone. Mammoth is a great place to see wildlife, including elk. The tour will walk along the terraces and see features like Pallette Springs, Canary Spring, and Orange Mound Spring.
Hayden Valley - The Hayden Valley is a large and wildlife rich valley located in the center of Yellowstone National Park. Bison, elk, grizzly bears, wolves, and other species native to the park live here. The tour will spend time looking for wildlife in the Hayden Valley. We provide scopes and optics to view the animals both big and small. There are many scenic overlooks for tons of photography opportunities.
Lake Area - Yellowstone Lake is the largest alpine lake in North America above 7,000 feet in elevation. The high elevation lake is surrounded by the Absaroka Mountains and Mount Sheridan. The tour will explore Fishing Bridge, the historic Lake Hotel, and take in the sights of this massive body of water. The shore of Yellowstone Lake can be a great place to see grizzly bears!

We had a great experience with Chris! Although we’ve been to Yellowstone multiple times, we wanted the expertise of an experienced guide. Chris did a fantastic job showing us how to spot wildlife – most often from places that we had driven by many times without knowing where (and how) to look. During our all-day tour, Chris showed us wolves, grizzly bears, black bears, pronghorn, elk, mountain goats, and many other animals. I strongly recommend Yellowstone Guidelines!”
