It’s recommended to stay in the area between Livingston, Montana, and Mammoth Hot Springs in the park. A pick up and drop off can be provided from these locations. Bozeman, Montana, is another access point to the park in the winter. Bozeman to Lamar Valley in a day is a reasonable option. There are lots of hotels and rental options in the north of the Yellowstone Area.
